A Life After Death

The question of whether there is a life after death, in the form of a reincarnation, contains more serious pondering moments than are initially recognizable in that first instance. Only the fact of whether a person is sure or not, that a life exists after death determines his attitude toward life. If a person knows about his life after death, then he behaves completely differently than someone who does not know about reincarnation and believes that their life ends with death or at least is irrevocably over after the last day. 

A person who knows about life after death cultivates a completely different attitude to life than a person who does not know about reincarnation or rejects it. The one who knows about life after death cultivates a decisive sense of personal responsibility and ethics as well as of the duty of being human and of the personal evolution. It is the person’s duty to have compassion toward his fellow human beings and all creatures. But a person who is not aware of life after death hardly ever thinks about the consequences of his thoughts, feelings, and actions. And exactly this fact, leads to the factor that man as an individual as well as in society, is almost exclusively fixed on short-term results, which are not promising for the future in the form that a truly long-term success exists. 

Evolution in the sense of a future-reaching and creationally-just progress could emerge. In this fact there is also the deeper reason for all brutality and superficiality, rampant among men, as well as the will of man to place himself above others and exploit them, to maltreat, rape, enslave and subjugate them, in order to live rulingly in power and glorify himself, without sincere compassion for his neighbour – an honest compassion that has become so rare among men of the earth. 

Man is always the result of how he thought, felt, acted, and lived – and so man will one day be the result of how he thinks, feels, acts, and lives. 

If man wants to understand his present life, then he considers his past lives lived through – and if man wants to recognize his future life, then he considers his present way of life.

Die Frage, ob es ein Leben nach dem Tode gibt, und zwar in Form einer Reinkarnation, birgt schwerwiegendere Momente in sich als erstlich erkennbar ist. Allein die Tatsache nämlich, ob ein Mensch sich sicher ist oder nicht, dass ein Leben nach dem Tode existiert, entscheidet über seine Lebenseinstellung. Weiss nämlich ein Mensch um sein Weiterleben nach dem Tode, dann verhält er sich völlig anders als einer, der um die Reinkarnation nicht weiss und Glaubens ist, dass mit dem Tode sein Leben endgültig beendet oder zumindest bis zum ‹Jüngsten Tag› unwiderruflich vorbei sei.

Ein Mensch, der um ein Weiterleben nach dem Tode weiss, pflegt eine völlig andere Lebenseinstellung als jener, der um die Reinkarnation nicht weiss oder dieser ablehnend gegenübersteht. Der um das Weiterleben nach dem Tode Wissende pflegt einen entschiedenen Sinn für persönliche Verantwortung und Ethik sowie für die Pflicht des Menschseins und die persönliche Evolution. Pflicht ist ihm aber auch das Mitgefühl für seine Mitmenschen und alle Kreatur. Ein Mensch aber, der sich des Lebens nach dem Tode nicht bewusst ist, macht sich kaum und nur selten Gedanken über die Konsequenzen seines Denkens, Fühlens und Handelns. Und genau diesführt zum Faktor dessen, dass der Mensch als Einzelindividuum ebenso wie in der Gesellschaft fast ausschliesslich nur auf Kurzzeitergebnisse fixiert ist, die nicht in der Form zukunftsträchtig sind, dass daraus einLangzeiterfolg und wahrlich.

Evolutives im Sinn eines zukunftsreichenden und schöpfungsgerechten Fortkommens entstehen könnte. In dieser Tatsache findet sich auch der tiefere Grund für alle unter den Menschen grassierende Brutalität und Oberflächlichkeit sowie der Wille des Menschen, sich über die andern zu stellen und diese auszubeuten, zu malträtieren, zu vergewaltigen, zu versklaven und zu unterjochen, um selbst in Macht und Herrlichkeit herrschend zu leben, ohne aufrichtiges Mitgefühl für den Nächsten – ein ehrliches Mitgefühl, das unter den Menschen der Erde so sehr selten geworden ist.

Der Mensch ist stets das Resultat dessen, wie er gedacht, gefühlt, gehandelt und gelebt hat – und also wird der Mensch dereinst das Resultat dessen sein, wie er denken, fühlen, handeln und leben wird.

Will der Mensch sein gegenwärtiges Leben verstehen, dann betrachte er seine durchlebte Vergangenheit – und will der Mensch sein zukünftiges Leben erkennen, dann betrachte er seine gegenwärtige Lebensführung.
