Als erstes möchte ich etwas geklärt wissen, das mir keine Ruhe lässt: Du weisst doch sicher noch, dass wir das letzte Mal vom Pillen-Päuli gesprochen haben. Es ist mir nun bei deiner Aussage nicht klar, wie seine Absetzung und Ermordung eigentlich geschehen konnte. Ich verstehe die Zusammenhänge nicht; kannst du mir Näheres darüber sagen?
Semjase:

1. Sicher, doch aber gilt auch dabei vorderhand das Stillschweigen.
   Billy:
   Natürlich. Du verstehst also, wer gemeint ist?
   Semjase:

4. Durch das Vatikan-Konzil wurde ein Kardinal namens Pietro Pavese zum neuen Oberhirten der katholischen Kirche ernannt, der jedoch gewissen wenigen Bischöfen und Kardinälen in ihren Plänen nicht willig und nicht gefügig war.
5. Durch den Beschluss wurde er, Kardinal Pietro Pavese, mit der Benennung Papst Paul VI. belegt.

Durch intrigenhafte Machenschaften besagter weniger Bischöfe und Kardinäle aber, wurde seine Ernennung zum Oberhirten noch in der gleichen Stunde im geheimen Kreise widerrufen und an seine Stelle ein ihm im Aussehen täuschend ähnlich sehender Kardinal gesetzt mit dem Namen Giovanni Battista Montini, der dann auch offiziell als Papst Paul VI. ausgerufen wurde, weil er dem Willen und den Wünschen der wenigen, jedoch sehr machtvollen und radikal-konservativen Bischöfe und Kardinäle gefügig war.
7. Der wirkliche Papst Paul VI. Pietro Pavese aber, der im Grunde seiner Überzeugung erneuernd und revoluzzerisch war und die katholische Kirche zeitentsprechend modernisieren und dem gegebenen neuzeitlichen Wissensstand angleichen wollte, wurde wegen der Gefahr, dass er die konzilische Intrige ruchbar werden lassen würde, seiner Freiheit beraubt und im Vatikan während zwei Jahren eingekerkert, gerade so lange, bis durch die weiteren kirchlichen Intrigen die letzten Verwandtschaftsgrade usw. Pietro Paveses bekannt waren.
8. Natürlich wurde alles im geheimen erforscht, wie dies für die katholische Kirche eigen ist.
9. Nach genauester Kenntnis aller Verwandtschaftsfaktoren wurden schlagartig durch gedungene Meuchelmörder alle Angehörigen des Gefangengehaltenen ermordet, und zwar auf verschiedene Weisen.
10. Danach dann, als die Sicherheit herrschte, dass keine Verwandten usw. mehr unter den Lebenden weilten, wurde auch Papst Paul VI. ermordet, durch Gift.
11. Und um völlig sicher zu sein, dass niemals diese ungeheure Intrige und Mordserie bekannt werde, wurde durch die kirchliche Macht des katholischen Amtes jegliche Aufzeichnung in den Geburtsregistern usw. ausradiert, so heute nichts mehr auf die einstige Existenz des wirklichen Papst Paul VI. und seiner Verwandtschaft usw. hinweist.

    Billy:
    Ha, weisst du, auch unsere Apparate sind einigermassen sicher.
    Semjase:
16. Trotzdem, sie sind technisch noch sehr mangelhaft und unsicher.
    Billy:
    Willst du mich ängstigen?
    Semjase:

27. Es handelt sich um jemanden mit sehr bösen materialistischen Tendenzen und ausartender Bösartigkeit.
    Billy:
    Ich weiss, man hat mir das einerseits schon gesagt, und andererseits habe ich es auch selbst festgestellt. Du brauchst dich nicht zu ängstigen, ich bin schon auf Draht, und selbst Millionenversprechen lassen mich kalt.
    Semjase:
28. Sicher, darum vermagst du auch deine Aufgabe getreulich zu erfüllen.
