2. After I left you last time, I visited Quetzal, Ptaah, Semjase and Pleija on the very next day.
3. Semjase is doing well and was very happy about your greetings and wishes.
4. They all also convey to you the dearest greetings and give you the assurance that Semjase is truly doing exceptionally well, and there are no concerns at all to harbour.
5. So she will, with great certainty, also be back here among us in about three months.
6. But I still have a second pleasant message to deliver to you, which will certainly please you as much as the first:
7. I have made all things clear to Quetzal, as they were discussed between the two of us in the afternoon of the 24th of March.
8. All were pleased about it and are also very, very happy about it.
9. Also, they all now cherish the hope again that everything will still and finally turn to the better.
10. But this is truly indebted to you alone, for on the 3rd of March, you pushed for the fact that the exclusion was uniformly adopted by all group members.
11. But at the same time, what is not yet known to you is that the elimination of the storage forces of H. S. has not been carried out yet because Quetzal must do this himself, and he has to come here personally for this purpose.

S. would change very much and would incorporate himself into the determinations.

    That completely knocks me off my feet, girl. Now, we have rather good peace in the group, because H. has really caused us a lot of trouble, which we are now finally rid of – the trouble, I mean. Even though I am very damn sorry and I would certainly be glad if H. could still remain with us, I must announce my concerns about it. If he comes back, then the whole drama begins again, and we can all do without that. For this reason, I also will not move a finger to orient H. about the fact that due to the fact that he has vilely driven Semjase into distress and illness, that exactly because of that, he should receive a chance again. 41. We are neither interested nor willing to stand in direct contact with Earth-humans other than yourself, but we also have no interest in any visual contacts or voice contacts of a personal or indirectly personal nature.
42. And that certain things are even just too dangerous for us, I do not want to talk about at all.
43. On the other hand, in our overall form of leadership of the peoples, politics is foreign to us, so we will also never get involved on the Earth and with the earthly governments in such a form and connection.
44. Politics are only operated by human life-forms who are still very foreign to the truth and who look at, consider, and handle all things in childish aspects.
45. We, however, have long been beyond such forms and will never get involved in them anymore, neither in one form nor another.
46. So if we will help Earth humanity through connections with the governments, then that can only happen in the manner that was unambiguously made clear by Quetzal in the proclamation.
47. A change, even if it would still be of absolute insignificance, can never be debatable, so the proclamation still retains its full range of validity, including the one-time deadline specified by us.
48. We conduct no negotiations at all with any earthly governments because we are those who want to help without any compensation and without any demands of the human beings of Earth for our profit.
49. We are solely willing to offer assistance within a reasonable and responsible framework, without the human being of Earth owing us a wage because of that.
50. That is all I have to say to this letter, and you should submit that to your middleman.

1. Ich darf dir eine sehr erfreuliche Nachricht bringen:
2. Als ich dich das letzte Mal verlassen habe, besuchte ich schon am nächsten Tag Quetzal, Ptaah, Semjase und Pleija.
3. Semjase ist wohlauf und hat sich sehr gefreut über deine Grüsse und Wünsche.
4. Alle lassen sie auch dir liebste Grüsse bestellen und dir die Versicherung überbringen, dass es Semjase wahrheitlich ausnehmend gut geht und keinerlei Bedenken zu hegen sind.
5. So wird sie auch mit grosser Sicherheit in etwa drei Monaten wieder hier unter uns sein.
6. Doch noch eine zweite erfreuliche Nachricht habe ich dir zu überbringen, die dich bestimmt so sehr erfreuen wird wie die erste:
7. Ich habe Quetzal alle Dinge klargelegt, wie sie zwischen uns beiden besprochen wurden am Nachmittage des 24. März.
8. Alle haben sich darüber gefreut und sind auch sehr, sehr froh darüber.
9. Auch hegen sie jetzt wieder Hoffnung, dass alles sich doch noch und endlich zum Guten wenden wird.
10. Dies aber ist wahrheitlich nur dir zu verdanken, weil du nämlich am 3. März darauf gedrängt hast, dass der Ausschluss durch alle Gruppenglieder einheitlich beschlossen wurde.
11. Was dir dabei nun aber noch nicht bekannt ist, das ist das, dass die Eliminierung der Speicherkräfte von H. S. noch nicht vollzogen ist, weil dies Quetzal selbst tun muss und er zu diesem Zwecke persönlich herzukommen hat.
12. Das wird aber erst dann der Fall sein, wenn Semjase und die andern, also Pleija und Ptaah, zurückkehren, was bedeutet, dass es also noch mindestens drei Monate dauert.
13. Für H. S. allerdings dürfte dies wohl kaum etwas ändern, obwohl er durch diese Frist noch eine letzte Chance hätte, wenn er sie ergreifen würde.
14. Dies aber wird er nicht wollen, weil sein gesamtes Wesen derart querulantenhaft ist, dass er weiterhin die Schuldigkeit seines Tuns und Handelns sowie seines fehlerhaften Denkens nicht bei sich selbst, sondern bei andern sucht.
15. So wird mit ziemlicher Sicherheit und also mit grosser Wahrscheinlichkeit sein selbsterzeugtes Schicksal besiegelt sein, auch wenn er noch eine minimale Chance hätte.
16. Quetzal nämlich, und das bin ich mir sicher, würde sich von mir überzeugen lassen, wenn sich H. S. jetzt noch einfügen und gemäss dem handeln würde, was ihm Quetzal bestimmte, in das er sich bis zum Ablauf der ihm gegebenen Frist aber nicht fügte.
17. Es würde mich natürlich auch in diesem Falle einen schweren Kampf kosten, wie du zu sagen pflegst, und was auch für euer aller Sache in gewissen Formen der Fall war, aber ich weiss, dass ich mein Ziel erreichen könnte und Quetzal sich überzeugen liesse, wenn H. S. sich sehr stark wandeln und sich in die Bestimmungen einordnen würde.
    Billy:
    Das haut mich glatt von den Socken, Mädchen. Jetzt nämlich haben wir recht gut Ruhe in der Gruppe, denn H. hat uns wirklich äusserst viel Ärger bereitet, den wir jetzt endlich los sind – den Ärger meine ich. Auch wenn es mir ganz verdammt leid ist und ich gewiss gerne hätte, dass H. doch noch bei uns bleiben könnte, so muss ich meine Bedenken deswegen anmelden. Kommt er nämlich zurück, dann beginnt das ganze Theater von neuem, und auf das können wir alle verzichten. Aus diesem Grunde werde ich auch keinen Finger rühren, um H. darüber zu orientieren, dass ihm durch das, dass er Semjase gemeinerweise in Not und Krankheit getrieben hat, dass er genau dadurch nochmals eine Chance erhalten soll. Das ist für mich zuviel.
    Menara:
18. Verstehen kann ich dich sehr gut, doch trotzdem ist es nur in der Form korrekt, wenn H. S. von der Sachlage erfährt und er also darüber orientiert wird, dass er trotz allem noch eine letzte Chance hat.
19. Du solltest dich daher besinnen und ihn darüber informieren.
    Billy:
    Ich werde es aber nicht tun, denn ich bin weder ein Verräter an der Gruppe noch an Quetzal.
    Menara:
20. Du siehst die Dinge falsch, und wenn du es nicht tun willst, dann wird diese Aufgabe ein anderes Gruppenglied übernehmen.
    Billy:
    Ich bin kein Gruppenglied mehr, denn ich stehe, wie du weisst, schon lange abseits.
    Menara:
21. Du beginnst dich bereits wieder in Zorn zu erregen.
22. Höre daher, was mir Quetzal auftrug, dir zu erklären:

Wie ich schon sagte, freute er sich sehr über die erste Änderung in der Gruppe, und so diese Änderungen weiterhin anhalten und bis zu seiner Rückkehr weitere Erfolge in Erscheinung treten, wird er alles so weiterführen und weiterführen lassen, wie es zum Beginn der Kontakte im Jahre 1975 war, allerdings mit gewissen kleinen Einschränkungen, die jedoch nicht von grosser Wichtigkeit sind und die euch in keiner Weise belasten.
24. Auch Semjase, Ptaah und Pleija sind zu demselben Entschluss gelangt und werden sich freuen, wenn jene Form der Verbindung mit euch bald wieder Wirklichkeit sein wird.
    Billy:
    Mädchen, du bist einfach ein Goldstern, ein schwarzer, wie ich dir schon mehrmals sagte bei deinem letzten Besuch. Ich bin dir so dankbar dafür, dass ich nicht weiss, wie ich dir diesen Dank ausdrücken soll.
    Menara:
25. Lass es gut sein, ich verstehe dich sehr gut, und ich freue mich darüber.
26. Doch wir müssen uns heute etwas beeilen, denn ich habe diese Nacht noch sehr viel zu arbeiten.
27. Hast du das Zeitmessgerät mitgebracht?
    Billy:
    Natürlich, dieses Ding hier ist doch der Wecker.
    Menara:
28. Ich werde gleich die erforderlichen Arbeiten erledigen, wobei wir aber trotzdem weitersprechen können.
    Billy:
    Gut, denn ich hätte hier noch etwas zu fragen: Engelbert versteht nicht deine Anspielung auf das, was du das letzte Mal bezüglich ihm gesagt hast. Kannst du mir erklären, wobei er jeweils zu schnelle Entschlüsse fasst, die er dann wieder revidieren muss, wenn ich irgendwelche Dinge erkläre?
    Menara:
29. Es war meinerseits nur eine Ratgebung an ihn im Bezuge auf die Lehre, in deren Verarbeitung er von Zeit zu Zeit sich die Belange zu wenig gründlich überlegt und so gewisse Dinge in Zusammenhängen und Erkennung anders sieht, als diese in Wahrheit sind.
30. Damit will ich sagen, dass er in diesen Phasen hie und da zu falschen Ergebnissen kommt, die er dann revidieren muss, wenn du diese Belange dann erörterst und erklärst.
31. Diese Ratgebung gebe ich ihm nur darum, weil er leichter vorankommt, wenn er weniger schnell irgendwelche Überlegungen in endgültige Werte kleidet.
    Billy:
    Aha, dann lag ich also richtig mit meiner Annahme, denn in etwa so sah ich die Dinge deinen Worten gemäss. Es war mir …

32. Meine Arbeit ist beendet.
    Billy:
    …? Du bist schon fertig mit dem Wecker?

36. Auf diese Zeilen habe ich nur folgendes zu antworten:
37. Quetzal hat eindeutig in seiner Proklamation an die Regierung der Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika die erforderlichen Fakten und Bedingungen dargelegt, von denen wir in keiner Weise gewillt sind abzuweichen.
38. Auf irgendwelche Bedingungen der Regierung der Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika oder auf irgendwelche andere Vorschläge als auf die unseren, lassen wir uns in keiner Form ein.
39. Den Weg der Kommunikation und der sonstigen Verbindung wählen wir allein und irgendwelche Abänderungen und Abweichungen von unserer gegebenen Proklamation kommen nicht in Frage.

40. Dies bedeutet, dass wir auf die Forderungen, Wünsche und Vorschläge, wie sie hier niedergeschrieben sind in diesem Schreiben, in keiner Weise eingehen können.
41. Wir sind weder interessiert daran noch gewillt, mit andern Erdenmenschen ausser mit dir in direktem Kontakt zu stehen, so aber haben wir auch kein Interesse an irgendwelchen Sichtkontakten oder Sprechkontakten persönlicher oder in indirekter persönlicher Art.
42. Und dass gewisse Dinge für uns sogar einfach zu gefahrvoll sind, davon will ich schon gar nicht reden.
43. In unserer Gesamtführungsform der Völker ist uns Politik andererseits fremd, so wir uns auch auf der Erde und mit den irdischen Regierungen niemals in eine solche Form und Verbindung einlassen werden.
44. Politik betreiben nur menschliche Lebensformen, die der Wahrheit noch sehr fremd sind und in kindischen Aspekten alle Dinge betrachten, bedenken und handhaben.
45. Über solche Formen aber sind wir schon lange hinaus und werden uns niemals mehr in sie einlassen, weder in der einen noch in der andern Form.
46. So wir also der irdischen Menschheit über Verbindungen zu den Regierungen helfen wollen, dann kann das einzig und allein nur in der Form geschehen, wie durch Quetzal in der Proklamation eindeutig klargelegt worden ist.
47. Eine Änderung, auch wenn sie noch von absoluter Geringfügigkeit wäre, kann niemals diskutabel sein, so die Proklamation nach wie vor ihre vollumfängliche Gültigkeit beibehält, inklusive der von uns genannten und einmaligen Frist.
48. Wir führen keinerlei Verhandlungen mit irgendwelchen irdischen Regierungen, denn wir sind die, die helfen wollen ohne jegliche Entschädigung und ohne irgendwelche Forderungen von den Erdenmenschen zu unserem Profit.
49. Einzig und allein sind wir gewillt, Hilfe zu leisten in vernünftigem und verantwortbarem Rahmen, ohne dass der Erdenmensch deswegen an uns eines Lohnes schuldig wird.
50. Das ist alles, was ich zu diesem Schreiben zu erklären habe und das du deinem Mittelsmann unterbreiten sollst.
    Billy:
    Vielen Dank, Mädchen. Ich werde deinem Wunsche entsprechen, alles ins Englische übersetzen lassen und es dann nach Amerika senden.

51. Damit muss ich nun aber meinen heutigen Besuch beenden.
52. Hinsichtlich des Zeitmessgerätes habe ich dir alles erklärt, so sich weitere Worte darüber erübrigen.
53. Wenn du nichts Wichtiges mehr vorzubringen hast, dann will ich jetzt gehen.
    Billy:
    Ich habe hier noch einen Brief, wenn ich dir diesen geben darf? Das Mädchen würde sich riesig freuen, wenn du ihn lesen würdest. Eine Antwort musst du wohl nicht geben, wenn ich richtig verstanden habe.
    Menara:
54. Zu früherem Zeitpunkt hätte ich solche Zeilen mit grosser Freude entgegengenommen, doch leider kann ich das jetzt nicht mehr tun, denn ausgerechnet das ist eines jener Belange, die unabänderlich besagen, dass wir in keinerlei Form mehr irgendwelche Verbindungen schriftlicher oder mündlicher Form haben werden mit Erdenmenschen, ausser mit dir.
55. So können wir leider keinerlei Schreiben an uns mehr entgegennehmen und auch niemals mehr irgendwelche Fragen beantworten, wenn diese nicht deines Ursprungs sind.
56. Eine einzige Ausnahme würde nur gelten hinsichtlich eines Bezuges auf irdische Regierungen, wobei jedoch jegliche Form einer Kommunikation einzig und allein durch dich als Mittelsperson stattfinden kann.
57. Damit nun muss aber für heute genug sein.
58. Leb wohl und entschuldige mich freundlichst bei der Schreiberin der Zeilen und entrichte ihr meinen Dank und die Versicherung, dass ich mich trotzdem sehr darüber freue, dass sie meiner gedacht hat.
