Torture and the death penalty for life forms, for all those humans who have committed an offence or crime – yes or no? This question is no question at all for responsible and healthy thinking humans, because to think in a responsible and health way precludes the possibility of any thought of agony and revenge.
If a hideous crime is committed somewhere there are immediate outcries and fits of anger by those concerned as well as by those not involved. Vociferous demands for torture and the death penalty are made that, consequently, every human who made himself guilty of an offence or crime shall be sentenced to torture and death, and shall be sent from life to the beyond. The guilty ones should be tortured, slaughtered, quartered, hanged, shot, drowned and beheaded; roasted alive, stoned, boiled in oil or cut to pieces. This is the reaction of the individual so-called human being and of people en masse when seized by anger and outrage, helplessness and fear because someone has committed an offence or crime. These people, who are convinced that they are better than those who have committed the offence or crime, scream for revenge and retaliation. But are these people who demand death penalty and scream for torture and death penalty any better than those guilty of the crime? No, quite the contrary. Those who favor or demand the death penalty or even carry it out are no better than the delinquents themselves. They are even worse and more criminal than those who are to be tortured or sentenced to death for having committed a crime.
Humans who favor, demand, or carry out the death penalty are cowards deep in their hearts, full of fear and, at the same time, greedy for personal gain. Their thinking is pathologically irresponsible and devoid of reason, whereby they are overcome by fear, outrage and helplessness as soon as events absorb their thinking which exceed their powers, for their way of thinking and its strength are still too primitive to examine the events responsibly.
Torture and the death penalty are never an expiation but simply the most primitive and criminal mode of revenge and personal satisfaction of primitive, criminal, irresponsible and unreasonable humans, whose intelligence quotient and humaneness rests far below those of the delinquent being tortured or sent from life to death for his wicked deed. It is irrelevant whether the advocate or supporter of torture and the death penalty is an executioner, a judge or a lawyer, housewife, a simple laborer, or a beggar. Whatever the case, the recommendation, demand, or execution of torture and the death penalty are all proof of an immense primitiveness, stupidity, greediness for personal gain, sectarianism, viciousness bloodthirstiness, irresponsibility and the inability to think reasonably and rationally, and of the most primitive emotional shortcomings.
Advocates and executors of torture and the death penalty are people whose own abysmal primitiveness prevents them from living in harmony and contentment with themselves and their environment. Their selfish way of thinking remains at such a primitive level that they are overcome and governed by paralyzing fear, outrage, anger, and helplessness, revenge and hate, when an injustice happens to themselves, their friends or even to strangers. Promptly, their ever-suppressed primitiveness and bloodthirstiness manifest themselves at such times. If the laws of the country would allow it, and given the opportunity to do so, they would vent their unrestrained feelings. Only their prevailing cowardice and fear of the law and themselves prevent them from satisfying their own dormant bloodthirstiness, which they would indulge in freely if this fear and cowardice were removed and the way opened to them. Potentially, more cruelty and bloodthirstiness lies dormant within them than in a pathological murderer who acts impulsively.
A compulsive perpetrator such as a murderer is sick, and a perpetrator committing murder impulsively is not in control of his senses while committing the deed. A murderer acting out of jealousy or for gain, etc. is also sick. They are all in need of appropriate and humane help which has to be coupled with suitable atonement. Any criminal is always misguided and at least sick in his thinking, but, in the end, society and the entire state, as well as the human as an individual, are to be blamed and held jointly responsible for him. They are all to be blamed and held jointly accountable because they have not and do no take the required preventive measures, and because they do not teach the appropriate teachings and do not provide laws and supervision which would stop all crime. They carry the guilt and co-responsibility because their indifference toward their fellow-man is so pronounced and full of snooty attitudes that the very thought of charity freezes and chills before it is allowed to manifest itself.
Criminals of all types, including thieves, murderers, and even people committing suicide, are always acting as misguided and seduced persons. In each case, the criminal act always rests solely on a false and therefore sick thought process, even when the crime is planned minutely in advance. The thinking of the criminally acting human is abnormal and illogical Consequently, we can only speak of misguidance, seduction or illness, irrespective of the cleverness and intelligence with which the crime wasexecuted. Still, misguidance, seduction and illness can be cured and redressed, even if the problem here is a disease of crime. The emphasis in the curability of a criminal disease rests on the curing the atonement offers, when a fallible human devotes himself to it after he has become guilty of a crime. Curing and atoning mean that a human who is guilty of a criminal act can recognize the illogic and guilt of his deed and may move in healthy ways of thinking by way of becoming conscious of the fallibility of his deed and his sick thinking, and eventually with medical help, too. A criminal has to recognize guilt and erroneous thinking by being taught and by learning, and has to change himself to become the truthful life form "human being" who is fulfilling the law. It goes without saying that he will be singled out and separated fro society for a suitable time because an atonement cannot be brought about if the guilty person has the same freedom as those who have never committed a crime.
A criminal of any sort is, therefore, always a sick, misguided, seduced person who is acting out of a thought process which is of an illogical and unrealistic nature. Therefore, he needs the help of his fellow-man and of the entire state, so that he may undergo and endure atonement. A criminal is a human in need, to whom the possibility of atonement must be offered, a the laws of every country demand, although often in an incorrect way. In any case, atonement can only be carried out if the person being corrected has been given the possibility of atonement through his removal from society and its freedom, and i taught the true truth and thus, the correct, healthy and lawful ways of thinking and acting. If a fallible person is being punished for a misdeed by torture and the death penalty, then he faces a penalty that is revengeful and sadistic, devoid of atonement and humaneness, and which, from the beginning, destroys any opportunity for atonement.
Such tortures and death penalties are being demanded, decided and executed by humans who are, as a rule, totally uninvolved with the consequences and effects of a criminal act. Their reflections, decisions and demand for torture and the death penalty, and the manner in which they should be carried out, are based on thoughts of bloodthirsty revenge, fear, cowardice and greediness for profit, because they can someday be harmed by a similar crime. Thus, people demand and give torture and death for others to camouflage their own cowardice, fears and greed for profit, fallibility, shortcomings, lust for blood and secret ambition for power. In their immense stupidity, they are unable to recognize that the demands for the endorsement and implementation of torture and the death penalty reveal their own primitive traits. Despite their misguided, seduced or pathological reasoning decisive for the crime, criminals frequently possess quite high intelligence and, on the other hand, those screaming for torture and death penalty suffer from irremediable stupidity, primitiveness and arrogance, from which springs the false belief that they are better than the fallible criminal. Because of their primitive stupidity, fear, cowardice, and greed for profit, the light of knowledge and wisdom never dawns on them that they are consciously acting, thinking and speaking in a revengeful and bloodthirsty way, whereby they are turning themselves into criminals, many times more fallible than those who committed a crime because of their misguided, seduced or sick reasoning.
Each country lives by laws that keep order, or that are meant to do so. Among these are laws demanding atonement for criminal actions so that order will be preserved or set right, and delinquents will be integrated into procedures of atonement that will lead them to healthy and correct thinking, acting and living. Yet, the more primitive a people or a human being is, the more illogical, inhuman and untrue are his laws and understanding of atonement for a crime. And as can be proven, the more sectarian and religious a people or simply a human is, the more primitive and untruthful they will be in their reasoning actions and lives, and the more primitive they are in the understanding and application of an atonement for a committed crime.
Only the sectarian and religious human whose primitiveness prevents an understanding of reasoning, acting and living within the laws is capable of revengefully and bloodthirstily demanding torture and even the life for the offence or crime of a human, instead of suitable atonement.
As torture and the death penalty were invented and practiced, thousands of years ago, as a bloodthirsty ceremony of sacrifice, and later as revengeful punishment of a religious-sectarian cult, they have entered into all religions, sects and political systems; since then justified, demanded and enforced by irresponsible and criminal military, judges, executioners, ravishers of peoples, and other irresponsible elements of most primitive stages of evolution. Elements, who, in their delusions of grandeur, call themselves human, but who do not, in truth, merit this description. How else could a human being worthy of the name override all the laws of nature and Creation and dare to sit in a court of law to preside over the life anddeath of another life form? Only primitive, sectarian fools, who are unable to reason, can do so, be it criminal military, a revolutionist, terrorist, hierarchist, monarchist, anarchist, or the Pope; sectarian, fanatic, beggar, housewife, judge, lawyer, the president of a nation or a dictator. If they would be true and law-abiding humans according to the Creative laws and commandments, they would neither demand revenge nor sit in judgement over fallible ones, nor condemn them or demand punishment, but instead they would sit in a council and, in all humaneness, determine the time and type of the necessary atonement. However, these primitive fools sit in judgement over the fallible ones and define, devise and demand revengeful punishment and its enforcement, even though they know that from time immemorial it has been said:
"Judge not that you shall not be judged"
and
"For with what measure you judge, with that very measure you shall also be judged."
The way the primitive fools think and act should cause us to reflect, and so are the time-honored words concerning judgement. Yet, only a few upright people occupy themselves with this reasoning and acting. The main body of people believe they are better than the delinquents who are given revengeful punishment. Such kind of thinking is to be found not only in countries where there is injustice before justice, but also in countries where reputedly there is justice before injustice, as for instance in the so-called constitutional states, whose laws, approved by the people, demand and propagate revengeful instead of expiating punishment. How else would one explain that in constitutional states such as Switzerland or Germany, voices of citizens of all walks of life, like housewives, workers, engineers, lawyers, judges, policemen, etc. become public, demanding the death of criminals; and in wartime, for instance, the death penalty was - until recently - as valid, and applied in the same manner as during peacetime in the USA. Consider for a moment the men put to death during World War II, in Switzerland, in a so-called neutral state – in the reputed land of peace!
After a crime we often hear only too quickly such primitive phrases as: "If you kill a criminal you need not feed him for a long time" or "These pigs have to be tortured and quartered," etc. For a thinking human, isn't it legitimate to ask: "Who is better in this case - the criminal or the one who demands revengeful and bloodthirsty punishment?"
Torture, in the first place, is the bloodthirsty diversion and satisfaction in seeing a fellow-man suffer lethal agony, and the death penalty is exactly what it says, namely, a punishment of revengeful intention and manner. It is a revengeful punishment, thought of, demanded and executed by so-called human beings, who are themselves, in fact, rapacious and bloodthirsty beasts, worse than beasts of prey in their thoughts and actions, which have become man-eaters, not killing because of instinctual self-preservation, but because of the ease with which they ean tear down human prey.
The amount of severity of torture and the death penalty never justify the application thereof, much less only one thought for such a revenge. The death penalty eliminates any prospect of atonement for the delinquent because after the execution everything, really everything, is over for him. He is dead, because of the primitive fools, the vindictive sectarians, the animalistic, criminal military agencies, the dictators, terrorists, anarchists, and killers legalized by the state, who delight or even rejoice in public killing by a legal or illegal verdict of murder, feeling big and strong and screaming: "Now I feel better, we have really shown this pig what's what." Thus, following the principle of the small would-be-great, whose juvenile mind does not reach very far, who shouts, after smashing in a neighbor's window with a rock: "Well, I have shown him. He's not going to call me names anymore, just because I stole an apple from his tree."
Man cannot insist on atonement from a delinquent fellow-man and then, at the same time, demand and execute a revengeful and bloodthirsty punishment. According to the natural laws and directives of Creation, the errant person must be given the chance of atonement and to fulfill the atonement. Atonement means, as true human laws imply, that a fallible human shall do penance for an offence or a crime. In other words, this human must be given the possibility to do penance by thinking in the course of months or years or perhaps an entire lifetime about the wrong or crime he has committed, to learn, and put his thoughts, actions and his entire life on healthy tracks in order to become a true human. Being locked into a small cell or being banished to a lonely place for 20 or 25 years or even for a lifetime, alone with one's self and one's thoughts, the fallible one has to carry his terrible burden day after day, until the time when he can say, because of the possibility of the given atonement:
"Yes, I have thought about my action and have realized that I have acted in a criminal way against life, the fellow-man and against all laws and directives. I have come to realize the truth and I repent bitterly. I beg forgiveness for my actions of that time."
Execution of a sentence was not invented and created by humans to take revengeful punishment and exercise revengeful punishment, but to help the criminals, to teach them the veracious laws of life and human order, to achieve logical thoughts so that they become human beings.
Torture and the death penalty have never been a deterrent to crime or even to murder. This is a fact, proven worldwide since time immemorial. On the other hand, it is a proven fact that, to this day, criminality has not risen in those countries where the death penalty has been abolished. This must be viewed using comparisons of increased populations worldwide. For instance, if 3% of 100 people are criminal elements, then there are 30 criminals to 1000 persons. It follows that among 10,000 people there must be 300 criminals, and among 100,000 people, there ought to be 3,000 criminals. Criminality only appears to rise, where in reality, the percentage actually remains the same. It is solely the constant and rapid increase in population that makes criminals appear in ever greater numbers, but without an increase in criminality.
Torture and the death penalty have no deterrent effect, because hardly one criminal, in his misguided, seduced and sick thoughts, considers what may happen to him once he gets into the custody of the legal authority. In fact, most criminals, in their misguided, seduced, or sick ways of thinking, frequently count on being smarter than the officials and authorities and that they would, therefore, never be caught. Why should a criminal be discouraged by the threat of torture or death penalty if he is convinced, in his misguided, seduced or sick way of thinking, that he will never be caught? If he were to consider the possibility of having to pay for his unlawful deed with torture and death, his attitude would be (and this may be proven) "...then everything quickly ends for me and I will have my peace. Let them torture and kill me and bury my dirt in the earth. For me it is only important that I may send this one or that one to hell. The idiots shall kill me, for then I don't have to live behind bars for the rest of my life." And indeed, the primitive fools aid and abet such criminals by preventing atonement for murderous assaults and help them to get a 'licence' for the wicked deed, and to avoid any responsibility and atonement. They take away the opportunity for atonement from those who would be open to.
It is the duty of man to love, assist and help his fellow-man, no matter who and what he is and what he may be guilty or innocent of. No man ever has the right to sit in judgement over his fellow-man and to sentence him. The only proper way is to sit in council, to deliberate and consult with the criminal, and to convey and bestow every possible humane means of assistance to him.
Every advocate and executor of torture and the death penalty is, in fact, a secret or public murderer, much more degenerated than the sick, misguided or seduced criminal, who is guilty of murder. Any support or execution of a torture or death penalty, be it in secret or in public, is a factual murder, whether there was prior legal sentencing or not. Factual murder is and remains the endorsement and execution of torture and killing in any kind of warlike activity, revolution, demonstration, act of terrorism and anarchism, and when denying help to an endangered life in the private realm, and last but not least, it is also factual murder to kill for sectarian or religious reasons of any kind.
The only law permitting the killing of another person is the law of self-defense, but only if such killing happens out of a pure act of self-defense. Only plain self-defense in plain defense aquits of any guilt if a human is killed.
The killing of another human in war or revolution, the support of torture and killing or the blessing of weapons for such acts, as it is done by various religions, is factual murder, too. Acts of war and revolution of all kinds are never in self-defense or defensive, for when humans riot together as military, mob, sectarian, and revolutionist, then they do so with the actual intent to murder and the thought to kill their fellow-man, should an attack occur by one side or the other. A military person, revolutionist, terrorist, anarchist or sectarian, etc., truly does not intend to take the possible enemy prisoner or to remove him in a humane and deathless manner; rather, they are nurturing and cultivating the idea of killing. Military people, revolutionaries, terrorists, and anarchists, etc., like to work knowingly with the intent to kill the enemy and never with the intention of eliminating an enemy in a humane and non-life-endangering way. Because of that only weapons are produced and used that enable one to kill the fellow-men, whereby it is obvious that one wants to kill, and that there exists a factual intent to kill.
At the present time, technical and other sciences, as well as chemistry, have advanced to the point that a so-called defense army would not have to apply murderous weaponry which brings only death and destruction, but it could provide itself with and bring into application the exclusive use of defense weapons whereby no human life would be endangered and only defense actions employed during an attack. This is not being done, but instead, there is only the discussion, training and application of torture and killing of the enemy. Therefore, we are dealing here with factual murder and he who can agree upon this method in his conscience does not deserve the name of man.
It is evident that humans inclined to torture and killing will give their degenerations free rein at any opportunity, and where can this better be done than when sentencing and during acts of war and revolution! In times of war and revolutions, especially those humans who support torture and death penalty evidently give free course to their degeneration. Their degeneration knows no bounds any longer when they receive the opportunity to release their desires and legal torture and murder. To belabor these points any further is unnecessary, since the atrocious degeneration and mass murder of those elements are well-enough known, worldwide.
A final word must be said about the alleged increase in criminality, as was mentioned above: Even when it is said and proven that criminality is not on the rise but only increasing according to an increase in population, at certain times, criminality will rise, such as when the states are endangered and limited by crises, and the citizens will resort to a criminal self-help; again, as a rule, by those who are supporters of torture and the death penalty. Those who would like to, or do punish others for their infamous actions with the death penalty, are the same ones who, in times of emergency, will only seek their own profit and commit criminal acts such as larceny, murder, theft of food, plundering, defamation of character, and defiling a corpse. These are proven facts that cannot be dismissed, and should provide us all with a great deal of information to ponder.
Torture and death penalty are factual murder in any case, by bloodthirsty beasts in human shape.
