Please note that a new policy is in effect for our Documents In Progress section. The working documents that are undergoing correction can now only be viewed/edited by FIGU-approved editors. When any document is close enough to a "final product" stage, it can be moved to a public area of the site for viewing by all. Only those documents approved by FIGU for placement on public areas of our web site will be posted. See our Documents in Progress section for this contact from 1981 on the gigantic comet called The Destroyer by the Plejaren extraterrestrials. This wandering dead star / comet once passed through our solar system every 600 years or so and caused widespread destruction...but it also brought about some interesting and very familiar elements as well. ***Please note change to this section above.

Sunday, January 25, 2009 - Newly translated Contact Report excerpt: The Red Meteor

An important excerpt from the 475th Contact between Billy Meier and his contact, Ptaah, concerning the approaching threat called the "Red Meteor" by the Plejaren extraterrestrials. This near-earth asteroid was discovered by earth scientists in 2004 and has been named Apophis. The Plejaren Quetzal had already discussed details of this threat with Billy as early as October of 1981 (150th Contact) and the conversation was subsequently published by Guido Moosbrugger in his book "...und sie fliegen doch!" in 1991 (and in English in "And Yet They Fly!", 2001).

In order to expedite corrections of new English articles for the web site, we now offer the ability for you to join in the process of correction! If you are a registered member of our site, you can view the Documents In Progress section to see newly translated material that is undergoing correction by FIGU Society USA, as well as participate in the correction effort using Microsoft Word. Any documents or articles in our main menu at the top of the screen that have a pencil-and-paper icon next to it signifies that the document is currently "unofficial" and is in the process of being corrected. Whenever you see the following icon next to an article, click on it and it will bring you to the Documents In Progress area.

(Please note that these statutes are written for the primary/core FIGU group in Switzerland. The FIGU Society USA has its own statutes that are based on those of FIGU Switzerland.)
